Next Training: “Centering and Seeing”

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Followed by Optional Potluck

In this session, “Centering and Seeing,” our intended training plan will include meditation; instruction and practice identifying our center through individual and group exercises; and instruction and practice opening to the land and widening our perception to the elements around us. There will be time for questions. The planned activities may change at any time depending on the group’s needs.

Attendees should come prepared for both inside and outside time (water bottle, warm layer, sun protection, etc.). A journal and pen is recommended. Our indoor space is always readily available. It is is comfortable and supplied with water and tea. Please no talking in our shared office reception area especially during typical business hours or when other people are working (multiple therapists in our suite). Please arrive 10 minutes early to place an event parking pass on your vehicle for the day in our parking lot. Bike racks are also available.

Please bring something to share for the optional potluck after the training if you would like to participate. Or just show up—that’s ok too! We have a refrigerator to store perishables for the potluck.

Afternoon options: We are right on the Boulder Creek—it is a beautiful spot to explore (might be busy depending on weather); Spend more time time on the land immediately around the office—we are surrounded by open space and trails; sauna next door (School of Light LLC is unaffiliated with the sauna but we are welcome to use it (independent company with a QR code and a fee; changing tent is next to the sauna; public restrooms are nearby at Eben G Fine Park); Journey to Indian Hot Springs about an hour drive into the mountains; Venture up to Nederland and surrounding areas up the Canyon; Explore downtown; or Catch the beginning or end of the farmers market 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. before or after the training. You might carpool or team up with other training group members for your afternoon adventure, or leave the rest of the day open and simply follow your presence wherever it takes you.
